Job description

• Primarily focused on back-end system architecture, design, and development.
• Work closely with architects to translate overall system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software components and applications.
• Design architecture of microservices, web services, and web applications.
• Collaborate with solution architects and other software engineers to design and launch new features.
• Implement software components of highly available, scalable, and robust cloud services.
• Take ownership of the implementation of individual software components, with high emphasis on quality, test-driven development, and sound software engineering practices.
• Maintain cloud component organization, code integrity, quality, and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum scalability and speed.
• Develop and implement data security best practices, procedures, and strategies.
• Participate in software design reviews, conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team.
• Develop multiple solution-related artifacts (e.g. solution delivery blueprints, application diagrams process diagrams, service interfaces, technical interfaces).
• Actively participate in release planning and execution.
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation in identifying new opportunities and applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
• Influence the direction of the available standards, methods, tools, and applications and makes appropriate choices from the alternatives.

Skills Required:

• Sound Knowledge of OOPs concepts, Algorithms, and Design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Applications, Web Services, REST, SOAP, Web Sockets, TDD.
• Experience in APIs creation and Documentation using swagger.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud services and Cloud deployments.
• Working knowledge of container environments such as Dockers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Micro Service architecture using REST services.
• Hands-on with the Active Directory, LDAP, Oauth2, TLS, SASL, and associated frameworks.
• Knowledge of Application servers like Tomcat, Web logic, Web Sphere, and HTTP servers like Apache and Nginx.
• Hands-on with CI and CD tools and the process.
• Exposure to messaging brokers like MQTT, and Kafka is a plus.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
