SRI Homes Hiring for Construction/Manufacturing at Kelowna, BC Full Time

COMPANY INFORMATION (Who We Are):

SRI Homes – Kelowna a division of Champion Canada International ULC (Canada’s largest producer of manufactured housing) is looking for several General Production Employees at our manufacturing plant located at the northern end of Kelowna, in the Central Okanagan Valley of southern British Columbia.

POSITION DETAILS (What You Will Do):

General Production employees are responsible for the manufacturing of modular and manufactured homes. Work is primarily indoors with some departments outdoors. Team members must be willing to work in multiple departments, work well with minimal supervision and work well under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS (Who You Are):

Team members must have/have the ability to:

· Manufacturing/Construction experience (1 year+ preferred).

· Experience using air tools (an asset).

· High School Diploma (or equivalent).

· An eye for quality.

· Work safely and efficiently.

· Good comprehension of written and spoken English.

· Work in a fast paced, deadline driven setting.

· Proven punctuality/reliability through work history.

· Be capable of heavy work (up to 75lbs), ability to walk, stand for long periods of time.

· Wear PPE, inclusive of respiratory protection and able to use tools of various types.

· Respect diversity and treat others with respect.

Regular Night Shift Hours are: 4:00 PM to 2:30AM Monday to Thursday, 10 Hour Shift.

Unionized facility – Wage will continue to progress. Within 2 years, wage can be a minimum of $28.00/hr+

This position has been deemed safety sensitive and will require drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment.

Salary: $21.89 per hour
