We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Engineers, Principles and a Technical Manager to join our Energy & Development Infrastructure team.

We are working on a range of prestigious renewable energy projects for both contractor and developer clients, including onshore wind, the land-based works for offshore wind and other renewable energy projects.

What does the role involve?

​​​​​​​You will have a leading technical role in a team engaged in the design of onshore and offshore energy related structures and associated infrastructure. This will involve the effective utilisation of people, client relationships and resources to deliver against agreed timetables and budgets. You will be:

Involved in hands-on design of complex reinforced concrete and steel structures such as wind turbine foundations and water crossings.
Providing technical governance on projects to ensure a “technically excellent” solution in accordance with the client’s brief.
Acting as project manager, as required, managing the project team and liaising with the client.
Managing the workload and resourcing of project teams.
Assisting the team leader with the commercial delivery of projects and ensuring they are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
Participating in the preparation/presentation of proposals and bids as required, including cross-selling our multi-disciplinary services, ensuring opportunities are maximised within current frameworks/projects and managing client relationships.
Mentoring and supporting less experienced team members to create a culture of continuous improvement and enable them to achieve professional qualification.
To be successful in this role you will:

Have a successful record of project delivery in the field of structures design with significant, demonstrable technical experience in civil structures design, analysis of complex structures, steelwork design and reinforced/prestressed concrete design.
Enjoy working closely with clients and other members of the professional team and playing a pivotal role in establishing the brief and developing solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
Have proven experience in the management of projects including programming, resourcing and monitoring.
Be confident undertaking business development activity, client management and be commercially astute securing new and repeat business.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit your audience.
Proven ability in the leadership and motivation of individuals and project teams with an ingrained culture of right first time and the ability to influence others to achieve this.
Be a chartered engineer with full membership of an appropriate professional body.
Experience of civil/structural design work related to renewable energy will be an advantage, especially onshore wind.
