POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible individual to join our growing team as an accounting assistant. In this position, you will be part of the Company’s accounting team primarily working in the areas of inventory control and production reporting.

DUTIES:

• Physical inventories/cycle counts – coordinate all physical inventories/cycle counts and perform book-to-physical research/corrections
• Inventory adjustments – inventory count and other inventory adjustments to the ERP system
• Review, reconciliation, and correction of production results
• Reporting and analysis – provide decision making information with accurate and timely reporting that is insightful and helpful to management team and other areas within the company
• Participation in various ad hoc requests and projects working with members of the accounting team

MINIMUM EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate, prefer some college coursework and/or Associates’ degree
• At least one year of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing company
• Microsoft Office applications – basic MS Excel knowledge is required
• Knowledge/use of ERP systems preferred
• Positive and energetic individual with the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
• Ability to get along well with others and willing to work long hours when needed
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
