Reporting to the A&DS Finance Manager, you will work as a Business Partner to the South East Operations Manager, being responsible for all financial reporting, analysis and accounting within the specified Region, and the management of 1 junior accountant.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Attend month end review meetings to provide feedback on the regional financial performance and insight on performance against individual budgets/ forecasts
• Overall financial reporting for the region incorporating profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow. This includes ensuring all reports are fully reconciled back to the respective ERP each month
• Co-ordinate the completion and compliance of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process.
• Monthly and ad-hoc reporting against Budget / Forecast: analyse of Working Capital Balances, forecasting of revenue and regional results
• Providing guidance, leadership and mentoring of Junior accountant

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have or demonstrate

• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Finance/ Management
• 5 – 7 years’ experience working as a Financial or Management Accountant: with financial oversight and management reporting responsibility
• Experience in the business partnering piece supporting business operations: able to interpret and analyse data, further to transaction processing and report generation
• Proven experience working with budgets, cash reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable and profit / loss reports
• Be adaptable and able to direct the team
• Experience in the use of accounting software systems such as SAP, JDE and Microsoft Dynamics.
