About The Role :

Our Carrier Sales Coordinators will ensure operational excellence and profitability, by supporting both the Carrier Account Manager and Carrier Customers.

This position focuses on assisting the Carrier Account Managers with managing carrier information and ensuring that we achieve a high level of load matches with current and prospective carrier customers.

Schedule : Sunday -Thursday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Responsibilities :

• Offering loads and booking dedicated shipments to assigned carriers.
• Entering available equipment and matching freight accordingly.
• Communicating daily with carriers and other sales representatives to ensure the carriers are meeting the requirements of the loads.
• Identify additional freight opportunities for assigned carriers.
• Leveraging relationship-building skills to grow existing carrier accounts.
• Managing carrier accounts, including maintaining account activity, and meeting individuals and pod goals.
• Assisting Carrier Sales Representatives in carrier rate negotiations.
• Tracking and tracing booked shipments, as needed.
• Providing customer service to Spot’s carrier and customers.
• Answering incoming calls; auditing load information; data entry and booking loads.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Sales and or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the logistics industry is preferred.

Skills :

• 1 3 years of work experience in customer service, operations, data entry, call center, dispatch, or logistics.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance, and organize information while completing multiple tasks.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency, a problem solver who takes initiative.
• Ability to succeed with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative under ambiguous circumstances.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, and results-oriented environment.
• Proficient computer skills with PC-based desktop applications, such as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel), email, and web-based meeting and presentation applications, as well as TMS.
