Purpose of Position:

The Accounting Assistant will support the Assistant Controller with the closing of the financial records each month, reconciliation, and general ledger.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing of invoices, business licenses, and assistance with accounts payable
  • Assist with monthly closing including creating and adjusting general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and reviews.
  • Work with store staff to research problems and find solutions to accounting problems and questions


Qualifications:

  • Professional communication skills
  • Analytical and Math skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented


Education/Experience:

  • Currently in the process of obtaining a BA degree in accounting, finance, or business management.

Pay: $18.50 – $19.50 per hour.
