The Role

The role will deliver small and large projects primarily across Betting, Product and Data division. The role will also be a part of projects influencing the whole of Sportsbet, Product and Risk & Trading with objective of achieving greater efficiency and better solutions to business problems.

Duties and responsibilities include:
Ensure that data is analysed into meaningful, actionable insights that will improve decision making and consequently drive business performance

Manipulating large data sets to access relevant transactional and behavioural data

Deliver complex analytical tasks to the key stakeholders and the wider business

Manage and deliver projects in a timely manner

Work closely with senior stakeholders including presentation of analysis, insights and recommendations

Give business users access to faster, more insightful and more contextual information to help improve the speed and accuracy of business decision making

You

Ideally you will have experience in a similar analytics role and experience working in a relevant industry;

Next level analytical skills with the ability to provide insights required to assist decision making

Advanced SQL skills (or equivalent)

Experience with Power BI and Tableau are a bonus!

Strong Excel skills (minimum)

A Proactive and collaborative approach

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of stakeholders

Python, R or equivalent are a bonus

Bachelor degree or higher qualification in business, mathematics, financial, computer science or data science discipline

Previous wagering industry experience will be highly regarded
