About the role

ing to the Head of Performance and ing, this role will work on ing projects which allow proactive analysis on business performance.  Sportsbet are ramping up its ing function as we increase our focus on self-service capabilities and timely access to data across the organisation. Part of the ing and Performance Analysis team, this role will deliver small and large projects across the whole organisation and add significant value across the business. A delivery-focussed mindset, attention to detail and ability to engage with relevant stakeholders, will ensure success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

• ing & Dashboarding:  Work on ing projects which allow proactive analysis on business performance. You will manipulate large data sets to create both transactional and strategic s and create effective and relevant s and dashboards for the business. You will also be involved in the delivery projects in a timely manner.
• Business Partnering: Enablement of self-serve data across Sportsbet.  You will partner with all departments and stakeholders and provide presentation of s, dashboards, analysis and recommendations to the business.
• Performance Analysis: Apply commercial insights across ing and analysis and promote standardised dashboards and metrics.

About You

We’re looking for a PowerBI Analyst with commercial acumen that understands the importance of delivering high quality, accurate and insightful s. If you have solid PowerBI experience, passionate about data and enjoys working in a fast and agile environment, we would love to speak with you!

• Experience in a similar ing role required.
• Strong PowerBI experience and DAX knowledge required.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills.
• Experience using and manipulating large datasets, with the ability to delivery high-quality, accurate and insightful s.
• Web analytics experience, knowledge of AWS, Azure Databricks, Python and / or R would be beneficial.
• Strong communications skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders, including management and leadership team
• Commercial acumen.
• Experience in a relevant industry preferred.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Mathematics, Financial or Science discipline.
