About the role

As a BA at Sportsbet you will be working within a team and with other teams. You will act as a liaison for the business, UX and technology teams. You will translate business needs and technology capabilities into stories, acceptance criteria and manage stakeholders.

 Key responsibilities include: 

• Be the interface of various teams. Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders using a variety of techniques. Provide steering guidance for initiatives that are exploratory in nature.
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to determine the most appropriate technical solution and provide analysis on trade-offs between usability, functionality, technical pattern and performance needs. 

• Outputs analysis into high quality artefacts be it documentation or stories. Ability to execute BA responsibilities such as detailing business rules, performing decomposition and estimation, NFS analysis, stakeholder analysis, process analysis and modelling, create use cases, and charting the customer journey.

• Defines acceptance criteria clearly, aligning technology, business, QA, non-functional, UX to an outcome.
• Live and breathe Agile ways of working: backlog grooming, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, retrospectives, mid sprint review, stories, sprints, Kanban, velocity, burndown charts are common terms to you.
• Active participant in the BA community to share. Provide learnings back to the community. Contribute to the uplifting of skills and knowledge other BAs.

About You

We are looking for somebody who is a self-starter and passionate about what they do. You sweat the details and you can adapt easily to pivots. You can tackle complexity, then break it down to its fundamental deliverables that make sense to engineers and stakeholders.

You are a team player who cares about and uplifts your teammates. On top of that all, you welcome a good challenge and have no issues balancing a few deliverables in a dynamic environment.
