OVERVIEW:
Interact Sport is a world class sports data and technology company that is part of the global Sportradar group.
During 2021 Sportradar & InteractSport were selected to provide data services for the ICC for the next 3 years including the recently concluded T20 men’s cricket world cup.
We are small but fast-growing company that will be building world class digital products for cricket and other major sporting organisations around the world.
THE ROLE:
Reporting directly to the General Manager this is a fantastic chance to help drive and build out our finance and administration team. Melbourne will be the hub around which Sportradar builds it’s Australian footprint as it builds world class digital products for sport.

Initially, a part time role, there is plenty of scope to evolve this into a full-time role in line with the expected growth of the company. Company culture us very important to us and we offer a flexible in office or work from home options.
THE CHALLENGE:
  • Evaluating our current accounting platform (XERO) and assisting with migration to an enterprise ERP platform such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Oversee the processing of employee payroll in line with the industry Award, client invoices and statements.
  • Processing of customer invoices and assisting the sales team in entering sales invoices
  • Reconciling company bank accounts and liaise with the banking institutions as required.
  • Managing and entering payables into accounting system, managing aged debtors to ensure all invoices are paid within appropriate timeframes.
  • Advising and implement financial systems and processes that improve business efficiency.
  • Preparing administration and accurate financial reports for management, e.g. P&L, Balance Sheet, accounts receivable, accounts payable including ageing debtors.
  • Preparing financial reports including monthly scorecards, manage external reporting requirements, and revenue reports to the executive team and CFO
  • Working with company CFO on wider financial issues including budget and cashflow
  • Assisting the company HR representative in administering staff pay and other entitlements
  • Working with an external tax accounting company and Sportradar AG finance team
YOUR PROFILE::
Required:
  • CPA Qualification or similar
  • Financial experience of a minimum of 5+ years demonstrating ownership and/or management of finance function in small to medium business
  • Experience with XERO accounting software
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with Salesforce desirable
  • Experience with other enterprise accounting, CRM or ERP system desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously, and to communicate effectively
