Talent Acquisition Manager – 12 Month FTC Maternity Cover

The Background
The Sporting Group is one of the world’s leading names in sports betting technology and trading. The Group employs almost 300 staff, predominately at its central London HQ, and has two principal divisions, Sporting Index – a B2C operation, the pre-eminent sports spread betting company, and Sporting Solutions, a rapidly growing B2B operation which supplies real-time pricing and sports trading capabilities to sportsbooks around the globe.
We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join the HR Team for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
The Role
As Talent Acquisition Manager you will take ownership of the full cycle of the recruiting process, proactively identifying exceptional talent. You will be focused on creatively developing a variety of recruitment channels to ensure that we identify, attract and engage with the best candidates, both passive and active.
You will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the Sporting Group to identify the hiring needs of the teams and to develop internal and external talent strategies to source the best candidates. You will work with hiring managers to identify talent already within the Group and externally to build a pipeline of candidates and to highlight the key skills required in the role.
You will advise managers in order to develop their understanding of recruitment, challenge the status quo and to advise on the current market.
Strong experience of project work would be beneficial as there is an opportunity to work on some great projects around onboarding, diversity and inclusion as well as talent management.
The role sits within the HR Team but works closely with the Senior Managers and stakeholders across the business.

You will be an enthusiastic talent acquisition manager who has a strong commitment to quality. You will be data driven, highly organised and adept at managing multiple priorities. Your background will involve agency and/or in-house recruitment and you will have expertise in sourcing exceptional candidates, attracting talent and building employer brand at every opportunity. You will be familiar with working with targets and comfortable providing metrics to demonstrate success or have a want to develop this area further.
