Sport Dimension Inc Hiring for Content Marketing Specialist at Carson, CA Full Time

Sport Dimension is the market leader in water sports related goods. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we design, develop, & distribute our products worldwide through our vertically integrated operations. Over the years, we have grown to encompass a wider spectrum of consumer products for outdoor sports & activities, winter sports, toys, digital healthcare products, & portable electric vehicles through strategic acquisitions & partnerships.

With decades of experience within the development & distribution field of water sports related products, Sport Dimension Inc is now building a D2C ecommerce unit in the United States to centralize all of its brand’s e-commerce operations. To enable this vision, Sport Dimension Inc is building a strong in-house marketing team & looking for a stellar content marketer with a proven track record of improving marketing metrics through a highly effective content marketing strategy. As content marketing specialist, you’d be owning end-to-end content marketing frameworks for our key sports brands in North America.

You’ll be responsible for driving all initiatives related to building a content driven marketing organization, including the planning & execution of our content production efforts. You will also be owning all areas of website content, content voice & tone guides as well as all content strategy for all external facing channels.

Ideal candidate would be someone with experience deploying content frameworks along AARRR funnel & a successful track record of demonstrating business impact via content strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct content audits, propose fixes & opportunities for content enhancements across all e-commerce touch points.
• Create, deploy & update content tones, voice & guides of brands under Sport Dimension Inc group based on the direction of each brand
• Manage all content workflows related to our ecommerce websites, marketing assets including paid & owned media.
• Own the planning of content strategy of the e-commerce funnel (AARRR funnel) including frequent updates & future planning
• Identify content gaps & improve e-commerce funnel by deploying experiments across paid & drip marketing campaigns
• Plan, deploy & amplify frequent content topics which supplement Sport Dimension Inc SEO strategy.
• Provide editorial governance & stewardship for all content related matters

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in implementing successful content marketing strategies for ecommerce / internet brands.
• A creative & strategic wordsmith who has experience creating content for various target audiences, demographics & verticals & also enjoys exploring innovative ways to express br& values.
• Previous track record of improving user funnel & conversion rates through effective content marketing strategies.
• You have a strong grasp of English & enjoy understanding the nuances of language in general. You have an ability to take marketing ideas & understand how copywriting, & channel-specific content can help tell a compelling story that is applicable even at a global level.
• You are a multitasker, able to manage various stakeholders to complete multiple time-sensitive projects yet are also able to work both independently & in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• You can tie your content production results back to data where possible & have the ability to analyze, present & improve online content & social performance using analytics to drive content strategy.
• You are extremely familiar with content management systems such as Shopify, Wordpress, Hubspot etc
