What you’ll be doing

• Supports the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs and communication strategies including email, social media, and content marketing.
• Maintains and executes the social media marketing content calendar for multiple brands while ensuring adequate communication, timely preparations of contributors and relevant content.
• Knowledge of Hootsuite, paid social promotion and advertising a plus
• Research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to break down complex concepts
• A desire to interact with therapists and clinic teams to capture content
• A working knowledge of photography and desire to capture the spirit of the brand at our 25 clinics across the valley
• Excellent time management and the ability to stick to deadlines
• Good observation skills and a keen attention to detail
• Prioritizes work and decisions that drive company strategy.
• Understand and communicate using the established style guides and brand voice when developing content for assignments.
• Create easy-to-read, easy-to-understand content tailored to their specific audience based on marketing personas.
• Creates, proofreads and edits copy for employee-facing and consumer-facing print and digital communication and marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
• Works closely with clinic directors and other department directors to guide their content needs by evaluating and determining resource allocation and maintaining the Spooner brand strategy.
• Coordinates product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including creation of content, handoff to technical lead, and testing
• Evaluates and monitors campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive s generated by the Marketing Analyst
• Conducts market and industry research and identify trends
• Works closely with peers and other members of the leadership team to solve problems.
• Develops and improves processes, and owns special projects.
• Maintains and executes marketing and event calendars related to recruitment for clinic and specialty events, company events, and community events
• Acts as a liaison during community events to attract traffic to the Spooner team and capture new leads
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Local travel will be required to meet the needs of the job responsibilities.

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelors degree in English language, English literature, media and communications, journalism, creative writing
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
• Self-starter with the ability to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create s
• Must have a high level of creativity and preferred experience driving a brand message
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Works well in teams, both internally and with external stakeholders
• Independent worker requiring minimal supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
