Mechanical HVAC Engineer
Sponseller Group, a leading engineering consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and evaluating HVAC systems for various types of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop conceptual and detailed designs for HVAC systems based on project specifications and client requirements.
Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and equipment selection.
Conduct site visits to evaluate existing systems and propose upgrades or replacements.
Collaborate with other design professionals and clients to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
Provide construction administration and commissioning services.

Qualifications

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC system design. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software. Experience with load calculation software such as Trane Trace, PipeFlo, or Carrier HAP. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including ASHRAE, NFPA, and International Mechanical Code. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Pay: $43.00 – $57.50 per hour
