  • The Company is committed to developing trainees to become qualified accountants to meet the future needs of the business therefore candidates must be prepared to work towards obtaining a Professional Accounting qualification (ICAI).
  • Our Finance Department covers all aspects of Industrial Accounting, including Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Budgeting, Internal Audit, Treasury Management and Financial Systems. The objective of the scheme is to provide trainees with practical understanding of the main divisions within Finance, plus an appreciation of other functions within the Company, such as Commercial, Operations, Engineering and Information Technology.
  • Company trainees will undergo a planned programme of training in all finance departments, with the overall objective of combining academic achievement with practical experience in an industrial environment.

Candidate Requirements:

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.

Essential Criteria:
  • BSc/BA/LLB degree (minimum 2:1) in a Business-related discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business). Qualification must be obtained by 30th September 2023
  • Successful candidate will be required to work 36 hours per week 5 days a week in Belfast, N.I. and so should be willing and able to relocate as required
  • Successful applicants must also have a positive, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude combined with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in finance as a career

Desirable Criteria:
  • 2:1 or above in a Business-related discipline. Qualification must be obtained by 30th June 2023
  • Relevant practical experience/ research within a professional finance environment
  • Further relevant qualifications within a finance environment

All applicants will be considered for graduate positions in Summer 2023. However, applicants who have already attained the required qualifications, will be considered for any available positions in late 2022/early 2023.
