SPIRE Academy is a quickly growing elite international boarding Academy, Performance Camp and multi-sport Event Center. Constructed atop an 800-acre assemblage, the campus hosts over 820,000sf of interior climate-controlled space and is a one-of-a-kind, world-class facility. It is the largest and most comprehensive indoor sports facility in North America.

SPIRE has seen significant growth in the 3+ years of ownership under the Ehrenfeld Companies. We have established and consistently grown the Academy business, expanded the Performance Camps platform, added a significant number of major Events, and built partnerships with global brands like The Cleveland Clinic, Marriott, Starbucks and UnderArmour. Our national event partners include USATF, USA Wrestling, Big 10, Atlantic 10, NCAA and others bringing over 1MM visitors to campus annually.

Overview:

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing all SPIRE Programming regionally – Academy, Camps, Events, Banquets, FIT/Performance and Rec programs. Responsible for educating and pulling in the community for SPIRE events and competitions and elevating the fan experience. This role must have digital marketing strengths.

Responsibilities:

• Create and drive marketing plans for all Events.
• Create and drive marketing plans for regional Academy and Camp campaigns.
• Create and implement marketing campaigns to drive membership to our regional Fitness, Performance Training, Camps, Clubs & Leagues.
• Create and implement marketing campaigns to drive rental space for banquet/corporate venue sales.
• Promote upcoming sport and non-sport events to boost attendance and brand.
• Improve fan experience at SPIRE home competitions.
• Drive community engagement and knowledge about SPIRE.
• Liaise with event managers and coordinate marketing efforts to support events.
• Collaborate with Creative Director to promote all on social media.
• Regional marketing manager will be responsible for Facebook (our most regional platform), placing posts in advance on AirTable for approval by Creative Director, posting, monitoring, and responding to questions.
• Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to effectively develop and implement all campaigns.
• Work closely with on-site Creative Director to share coverage of all happening on-site, not only events and regional programs.
• Collaborate with the entire marketing team (CMO, Creative Director, Comms/PR, Digital) as well as cross-functional teams (sports, programs, events, outreach and business development) to ensure that goals are met.
• Keep spireacademy.com updated. Request new images and video from the Creative Director as needed.
• Create emails in our CRM HubSPot, learn and activate email automation and other marketing techniques we use.
• Assist with global digital marketing campaigns as needed.
• Create regional google and meta digital campaigns.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy of Comms Roadmap.
• Assist with the creation of signage around campus.
• Assist with the creation of marketing materials.
• Monitor all marketing materials on SPIRE’s campus, including but not limited to banners, rack cards, admission guides, stickers, tablecloths and giveaways.
• Maintain inventory of all marketing materials and their location. When anyone needs something from marketing, they must sign out and sign the items back in.
• Assist in activation of all sponsors.
• Assist in creating and driving marketing plans for all new ventures when needed.
• Content creation when needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, sponsorship or business development or related field.
• Interest in sports.
• Attendance at events often requires evenings and weekends offset with comp time.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in marketing, sports marketing, communications, or related field

Compensation:

• Annual salary of $45-50,000 depending on experience
