Spinnaker Oil Hiring for Operations Engineer – Cementing – Hobbs, NM at Hobbs, NM Full Time

Main Job Scope:

Member of Cementing engineering team based out of WTX (preferably Hobbs, NM). Planning and follow up of cement jobs in Permian (Delaware) Basin. Supervise execution on site if/when required.

Job Responsibilities:

· Work on Customer proposals and pricing structure

· Maintain good communication with internal team as well as customers

· Optimize fluids management to utilize the resources best possible

· Inventory management / allocation

· Application of new technologies in Lab and in field

· Serve as local technical advisor and resource for the area

· Review all local job problems or unusual events (could be successes) to keep updated on the topic

· Assist in problem solving or job planning whenever necessary

· Contribute to standardization of procedures, recommendations and best practices

· Assist in laboratory testing on cement blends

· Champion safety, environmental, and quality issues

Education:

Compensation:

· Salary paid bi-weekly based on experience/skill level
