Spindle, a leading educational company committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students, is seeking two dedicated School Social Workers to join our team. We have two full-time positions available for the upcoming school year, each with unique responsibilities:

Available Positions

Position 1: School Social Worker – Emotional Impairment Program

• Provide comprehensive social work services to students enrolled in our Emotional Impairment Program.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with emotional impairments.
• Collaborate closely with special education teams and parents to support students’ social and emotional needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and facilitate group counseling sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Position 2: School Social Worker – Elementary School Split Position

• This position spans two elementary schools within the district.
• Provide a wide range of social work services to students at both elementary schools.
• Conduct assessments and provide individual and group counseling.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement interventions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.
• Advocate for students’ rights and access to appropriate services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.

Requirements For Both Positions

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students, families, and professionals.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting is preferred.
