We are accepting applications for a Speech Language Pathologist – 1.0 FTE Temporary commencing January 8, 2024 until December 20, 2024 .

Under the supervision and direction of the Director of Inclusive Learning Services and through collaborative partnership with school teams and other professionals, the Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for providing a continuum of speech and language services to students from Pre-K to Grade 12, with a focus on early intervention, complex communication, and language needs.

This position requires the Speech-Language Pathologist to have a Master’s Degree and registration with Alberta College of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (ACSLPA). The successful candidate will have related experience in formal and informal assessments & screenings, providing universal and targeted speech and language strategies, supervision of Speech Language Pathology Assistants, providing professional learning to staff, and working collaboratively with a team. Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and supporting students with complex communication needs is an asset.

Salary Range: $79,912 – $96,862 per year plus board paid benefit coverage.
