JOB SUMMARY
Seeking an experienced, well-rounded HR Generalist to administer human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. Promote equity, fair treatment and positive employee relations. Provide comprehensive HR support to designated client group in the area of employee relations, recruitment and retention, performance management, conflict management, and leadership. Partner with business leaders to fully understand business issues, and how HR can best support achieving results.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the employee experience

• Establish strong partnership relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Overall support of 500+ employee’s majority non-exempt employees population.
• Effectively communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures
• Perform employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job related conflicts, employee performance issues and terminations; conduct exit interviews;
• Conduct employee related investigations
• Assist leaders in management of corrective action and performance management processes to address performance and policy issues and to drive performance to meet company requirements.
• Ensure employees are in compliance with company policy, procedures and values as well as federal, state and local laws.
• Play an active role in coaching and leadership development/training to drive business goals and objectives.
• Assist in development of talent planning and succession planning for client groups and their leadership team.
• Attend client staff meetings to establish business knowledge and develop strong relationships with key leaders.
• Partner with business managers to provide human resources solutions that encourage effective business decisions and builds employee engagement.
• Escalate issues/concerns as appropriate.
• Handle workers compensation, first report of injury database and safety regulations process
• Support Call center leave management
• Conduct open enrollment and other benefits related programs as needed
• Conduct employee and supervisor training including benefits, policies and procedures and prevention of harassment and discrimination
• Ensure timely and accurate entries to the HRIS data base
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll entry for designated client group
• Perform audit and compliance functions as requested (audit reports verification, commission reports, payroll)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

• Minimum of 2 years Human Resources support experience, inclusive of involvement in employee relations and HR documentation and leave administration required.
• HR support of 100+ employees majority non-exempt employee group required in a call center environment preferred.
• MS Office PowerPoint and advance experience in Excel.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures
• Basic knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies
• Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws
• Knowledge of staffing and employment practices
• Knowledge of employee relation’s procedures and applicable law
• Knowledge of cable television products and services a plus
• Strong PC skills and MS Office skills Required
• Keen attention to detail required

Hours: 10am-7:pm or 11am-8pm

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
