Spectrum Feed Services Ltd. is Looking for QA Coordinator – Pet Food Full Time

Spectrum Feed Services Ltd – a growing, family operated business manufacturing dry pet food – has an immediate opening for a QA Coordinator.

The successful candidate will report to Moorefield and manage the daily QA activities of the facility. The candidate will work closely with the Compliance Manager and General Manager to ensure quality and compliance in the facility. Tasks will include but are not limited to:

Assist the Compliance Manager in managing food safety programs

Completes Product Quality Checks

Completes Bagging Check

Review daily production records

Coordinates required finished product testing

Promote Traceability of incoming ingredients and finished products

Interact with plant production staff and plant management to resolve QC and Compliance Related issues

Assist with Customer Complaint Investigations

Review, interpret and analyze lab results

Must be proficient with Microsoft office: Word, Excel, Outlook

A background in Food/Animal Science is considered an asset.

Monday – Thursday – 6am – 4:30pm – Fridays off every week.

Salary: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
