Medical Receptionist

Baltimore, MD

MUST:

Experienced Medical Receptionist

2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist

2+ years of medical assisting and medical office experience

MUST have experience with Referrals

Surgical Experience Highly Preferred

Hospital experience preferred

Must be able to multitask and work with a high volume of calls

Must have great communication skills and customer service

DUTIES:

Scheduling patients and/or verifying respective patient insurance information

Assisting physicians, nursing, and clinical staff with accurate and timely scheduling of patients to be seen in the clinic setting

Communicating with patients and family members

Performing various clinical front desk and clerical duties such as obtaining demographic and insurance information and charge entry

Managing patient flow
