The Accounts Payable Specialist will perform daily activities such as invoice review, coding, and processing/posting, print checks, initiate wires/ACH payments, annual 1098 & 1099 processing and other ad hoc projects as necessary.

Your Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for completeness, accuracy and authorized approval.
• Code invoices with the General Ledger account to be charged.
• Enter and Post invoices in accounting software.
• Prepare invoices for payment and print checks twice a week.
• Initiate wires/ACH payments as needed.
• Manage aged payable report to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage vendor card accuracy such as name, address and TaxID.
• Assist with annual 1099/1098 processing/filing.
• Ad-hoc projects from Finance Manager/CFO.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Excel
• At least 1-2 years of accounts payable experience
• Experience in Loan Vision but not required
• Experience in Encompass but not required
• Able to work in-office
• Able to work OT when needed
