Accounting/Office Clerk

Southwind Construction Corp. has been a leader for over 40 years in the dredging industry and has an excellent, full-time opportunity for the right candidate. This position will report to the CFO and be responsible for all payroll processing, payroll/sales tax returns, benefits, bank reconciliations, state annual reports, preparation of bid documents, all license renewals and prequals, and many other administrative/accounting duties. This position will also cross-train in all aspects of accounts payable and use tax filing.

Utilize robust accounting software that has good reporting and exporting capabilities. Must have a excellent knowledge of Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro, as well as other Microsoft Office Applications.

Experience preferred. EOE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour
