In addition to a competitive salary, this role attracts a JNC benefit package of £2724 PA / Pro-rata dependent on the start date and hours worked.

We are looking for experienced HR professionals with an impressive track record gained in strategic and technical subject matter, expertise, advice, guidance, and management of Industrial Relations and Trade Union frameworks and operations. You’ll have the credibility and confidence together with a detailed understanding of complex, public sector organisation combined with the ability to pro-actively lead on Employee Relations Policy and Practice development and review in line with Employment Law best practice developing professional practice across the HR team. You will design, develop and deliver HR strategy, policies, procedures, and systems that facilitate constructive and supportive employee and industrial relations aligned with the delivery of the councils’ overall workforce strategy and people plans.
