Here at Southern Water, we are looking for our next Talent Acquisition Partner to join our brand-new team based in Durrington (with hybrid working). This function is still in its infancy and by joining the team now you will be able to make positive changes and stamp your mark, taking ownership and accountability of the recruitment lifecycle and as such you will be an integral and valuable part of the function from the early stages!

You will be driven, people focused and have an in-depth knowledge of Talent Acquisition and all that comes with it, you will be the main point of contact between the vacancy recruiters and the hiring managers bridging that gap and managing the process from initial offline conversations to briefing on the vacancies, scoping out the role, approving adverts and ensuring clear and consistent communication between all parties. With excellent planning and attention to detail you will pair this skillset with being personable and approachable and the ‘go-to’ person for queries.

You will be responsible for ensuring that Southern Water is able to attract, recruit and retain the talent the organisation needs, with particular focus on the capabilities needed to design, build and deliver our key strategic programmes.

Your main purpose will be to:

• Work collaboratively with HR and key business stakeholders to identify, develop and implement bespoke recruitment campaigns to drive effective and cost-efficient strategies that attract and retain talented people and ensures that Southern Water’s resource needs are met.
• Partner with our recruitment vendors as required to ensure effective sourcing methods.
• Support our drive to be an inclusive and diverse organisation.
• Promote the Southern Water employer brand: increasing awareness and reinforcing the attractiveness of the company to both current employees and potential candidates including working on our Graduate programme

To undertake this role, you will have experience of:

• Managing diverse recruitment needs in large complex organisations.
• Managing a wide range of stakeholders.
• Wide-ranging selection and recruitment channels.

This role will involve some travel to sites where your stakeholders are based so the ability to travel is needed.

Although this role is a 6-month fixed term contract there is the opportunity to grow with this developing function, your development and training is as important to us as it is to you and you will be supported closely.
