Southern Technical College is seeking a Librarian. The Librarian is responsible for all Library/Learning Resource Center operations.
The Librarian’s general responsibilities will include:
- Managing the overall operation of the library at the campus.
- Participating in Orientation, including teaching Library usage
- Supporting other departments in the college to ensure satisfactory customer service, including ordering, filing, and other general administrative duties.
- Proctoring admissions entrance exams.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelors in either the Library Science or Information Specialist fields.
- Sufficient work experience in a library setting.
- Customer service focus
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Computer literacy
- Effective communication skills.
Morning and evening hours are necessary to provide service to all students.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
