Job Description:
Job Title: Receptionist/Scheduler
Department: Front Office Staff
s To: Office Manager
Summary: Responsible for the customer service experience of patients and guests
of Southern Oregon Spine + Rehab, including checking-in, collecting paperwork
and/or payments, scheduling, managing the retail center, managing the incoming
phone calls, managing patient flow, and assisting the Office Manager with front
office tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone;
answering or referring inquiries.
2. Maintains safe, clean, and compliant reception area by complying with
procedures, rules, and regulations, including HIPPA regulations.
3. Performing check-in and check-out procedures, including scheduling and
collecting payments and co-pays.
4. Maintain and manage retail area and supplies, alerting the office manager of
re-order needs.
5. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Education and Licensure: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. HIPPA
training or other required certification will be provided.
Experience: Entry level. Healthcare setting experience preferred.
