HealthShare NSW is looking for a Talent Development Business Partner. This role will manage and support Business Units in the consultation, design and implementation of development programs and initiatives that will improve individual, team and organisational skills, capability, and performance to support strategic objectives.
We are looking for a dynamic person with experience and knowledge in identifying talent needs in consultation with business groups and relevant stakeholders to provide solutions in improving performance and capability of the organisation.
You will also have strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiating skills along with demonstrated capacity to identify talent needs and drive development initiatives autonomously from initial conception through to implementation. Does this sound like you?
About the opportunity
This role will lead the Talent Development team, providing management of the team to ensure continuous effective service with a responsive, innovative, performance based and accountable customer focus.
You will be providing coaching to business unit managers to expand their understanding of talent and how to apply sound talent management principles and practices to build leadership pipelines in line with current and future business needs, capabilities and increase workforce mobility.
You will be responsible for the design and delivery of talent development programs and initiatives, including annual talent review and succession planning activities, ensuring a pipeline of ready candidates for all business-critical roles. Click here to find out more.
This is a Full Time – Exempt position (for a period up to 17 September 2023) graded as a Health Manager Level 2 with an annual salary of $100,107.00 to $118,735.00 (Excl. 10% superannuation). Location is negotiable

You will be asked to complete a psychometric assessment (e.g. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.
Only candidates with current Australian work rights (Australian citizens, permanent residents, valid work visa) will be considered.
Vaccination Requirements
This is a NSW Health Category B position.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
