What you’ll be doing

To provide care of children 0-6 years old in a stimulating, educational and nurturing environment.
To facilitate positive communications with families and other stakeholders by respecting individual differences.
To plan and implement developmentally appropriate programme for the children.
To participate in implementing National Quality Framework.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Experience with working in Early Childhood Services, eg preschool, long day care centre.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an active team member
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework (inclusive of the Early Years Learning Framework)
  • Diploma in Community Services (Children Services) or equivalent or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Basic Computer knowledge with Microsoft Word experience
  • Current First Aide Certificate
