Southern Maine Aviation, LLC is hiring enthusiastic full-time flight instructors to join our flight department. Duties and responsibilities include providing high-quality customer service, professional flight / ground instruction to a diverse population of clients from the United States and abroad. We are a FAA Part 61 and 141 flight school that provides flight training for Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and Instructor Students as well as conducting flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, complex, and high performance endorsements. We do tailwheel, spin training, and light backcountry training. We also do a significant number of scenic flights due to our proximity to the beaches of Maine. We have an immaculate and well-maintained fleet of Skyhawk SP’s, an ACA Citabria, a Cessna 182RG Skylane, a multi-engine Beechcraft Duchess and a full motion FMX Redbird Advanced Aviation Training Device.

We are located at the Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport in Sanford, Maine. We have a diverse staff of highly experienced flight instructors that come from various aviation backgrounds and are willing to mentor new flight instructors.

Minimum Qualifications: Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument (CFII), MEI and tailwheel is highly desirable but not required.
