The Lecturer in English Education will actively contribute to the Faculty through student centred teaching practice and development in English Education. The role will contribute to the research and/or scholarship of teaching profile of the Faculty through their publications and undertake relevant engagement and service activities to support the Faculty
This position is available at either Lismore, Gold Coast or Coffs Harbour locations, offering the very best of an Australian coastal and regional lifestyle. Generous relocation support is available for the successful candidate if relocating to one of these regions to commence in this role.
Lecturer – A remuneration package of up to $140,609 per annum if offered for a Lecturer appointment, inclusive of base salary $101,544-$120,179 per annum and 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
About you
Possessing a PhD/Professional Doctorate in English Education and teaching qualification, you will have experience with Initial Teacher Education, and English Education, demonstrating a commitment and understanding of student-centred learning and reflective teaching practice.
Applicants will have a developing research track record in English Education (and related areas), relative to opportunity, as evidenced by high quality publications and research grant funding.
To be successful in this role you will have the demonstrated capacity to operate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and adapt your approach to changes in environment or circumstances.
