We are seeking interest from experienced and suitable qualified teachers to undertake casual academic opportunities within the Faculty of Education. Previous tertiary experience would be desirable but not essential.
Opportunities available in the following discipline areas:
Casual academic staff are required to undertake a range of duties within our programs, with a primary focus on marking, tutorials, lectures and student contact.
The hourly salary for casual academic staff is from $48.53 an hour (from $57.76 for PhD holders) plus superannuation. Payments will also include additional preparation time where applicable (such as two hours preparation time plus one hour delivery time, and a higher hourly rate, for delivering a basic lecture). All casual positions have a degree of administrative duties.
These roles offer flexible working conditions are locations options across our campus regions (Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour), and also online.
With relevant qualifications and professional experience relevant to the specialisation you are expressing interest in, you will have a proven track record of maximising educational outcomes.
You will be a passionate and engaged teacher/educator, with a strong working knowledge of contemporary teaching curricula and technologies. You will be willing to share your knowledge and expertise with the future education providers and leaders to promote excellence in all areas of education.
