About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Management Accountant will collaborate with the Commercial Finance team to provide proactive commercial advice, guidance, and counsel across a portfolio of national and local business units. You will provide timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting and assist the Finance Business Partner team with ad-hoc queries.
Key duties required:

• Assist the Commercial Finance team with preparation of month- and year-end accounts, forecasts, yearly budgets, and variance analysis reports

• Reconcile and report on numerous balance sheet accounts, often involving liaison with other departments
• Ownership of various P&Ls, including monthly accruals, prepayments, and annual budgeting
• Assist with coding and approval of Accounts Payable & Reimbursement requests.

• Assist in various financial tasks including contra accounting, sundry Invoicing and corporate credit card review and approval.

• Assist with reviewing of monthly Sales Commission calculations.

Skills and experience required:

• Relevant degree.
• Experience in a finance role and proficiency in relation to management accounting and the preparation of management reports.
• Understanding of fundamental accounting issues.
• Computer literacy essential, particularly with MS Office Suite of products.
• SAP experience is desirable but not essential (job specific training will be provided).
