We are searching for a Logistics Analyst to perform Candidate will collect, manage, analyze, and on Supply Chain logistics performance using Microsoft office applications.

Candidate will analyze financial data regarding transportation and historical data and trends to guide for future planning.

Prepare monthly s and aid in developing metrics for transportation analysis. Assist in developing plans, policy, and procedures to ensure reduction in freight expenses.

Performs other duties as assigned. May provide functional or technical leadership over teams in the same or closely related classifications where scope of responsibility is limited to direction, guidance, explanation, etc.

• Hours : 40hrs
• Shift : Day shift; 8 : 00AM-4 : 30PM
• Location : Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA

Education and / or Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or similar field strongly preferred.
• 5+ years experience in supply chain, with a background in logistics and transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; influences and persuades others internally and externally.
• Must be able to work independently on assigned projects, seeking guidance as needed.
• Must understand logistics and ability to read and abstract pertinent information from contracts.
• Strong ing and analytical skills are a must.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel to create graphs, trends, pivots, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced work environment and must have a positive attitude.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus and provide required vaccination documentation unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
