Lecturer Cadet Education (Deck)

Warsash Maritime School has an exciting opportunity within our Cadet Education team for a senior maritime professional to lead on the delivery of our Cargo and Ship Operations Modules. We are particularly interested to speak to anyone who is highly proficient in both Wet and Dry Cargo Operations on a variety of vessels.

You will be responsible for teaching the Cargo Operations and other subjects as required by the SQA, MCA and MNTB supporting our Deck Cadets and OOW students.

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of STCW Class 2 CoC (Deck) Unlimited from MCA, UK, with recent sailing experience. Academic qualifications to degree level or academic background with research or teaching experience is desirable, but not essential. We are committed to supporting the successful candidate in completing a Post Graduate teaching qualification and to developing their teaching skills as part of our teaching team.
