South West Water Looking for Project Delivery Manager at Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom Full Time

We currently have an opportunity available for a Project Delivery Manager to join our team in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.

As our Project Delivery Manager, you will lead the Developer Services New Development of design and build schemes across the South West Water supply area (clean and waste). Your natural management and leadership capabilities will motivate and inspire a team of twelve people to deliver projects within timeframes and budget at pace.

Responsibilities include:

– Delivering projects in line with the financial framework within the business and wider requirements of the Ofwat/Water Industry Act

– Managing and reporting on performance of the team to ensure a high performing department that can demonstrate value for money on projects

– Acting as the principal point of escalation, resolving more complex delivery issues when necessary

– Managing stakeholder relations, representing SWW at meetings with external parties, ensuring effective resolution of any issues and protecting the interests of SWW

– Liaising with other functions on matters related to the installation of SWW assets

– Developing a culture of best practice and innovation through internal and external industry benchmarking

– Complying with SWW health and safety requirements and ensure all projects designed comply with CDM Regulations

– Ensuring service delivery always remains compliant with policy and legislation

– Developing and maintaining the processes and procedures

What we are looking for:

– Experience leading a team in a customer focussed and target driven environment is critical for the role

– NVQ in Civil Engineering Level 5 or similar

– Educated to A-level standard or equivalent

– 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above in Maths and English

– ISOH Managing Safely qualification

– Experienced in Design and Construction Clean and Waste apparatus
