We currently have an opportunity available for a New Development Delivery Manager to join our team in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,000 – £38,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

As our New Development Delivery Manager, you will lead the Developer Services New Development of Design and build schemes across the South West Water supply area. (clean and waste)
Responsibilities of our New Development Delivery Manager include:
– Managing and reporting on appropriate performance of the team and individuals to ensure a high performing department that can demonstrate value for money on projects
– Acting as the principal point of escalation within this function of DS, resolving more complex delivery issues when necessary
– Managing stakeholder relations, representing SWW at meetings with external parties, ensuring effective resolution of any issues and protecting the interests of SWW at all times so as to minimise risk to the business
– Liaising with other functions on matters related to the installation of SWW assets
– Delivering of the projects in line with the financial rules within the business and wider requirements of the Ofwat/Water Industry Act
– Developing a culture of best practice and innovation through internal and external industry benchmarking
– Complying with SWW health and safety requirements and ensure all projects designed comply with CDM Regulations
– Ensuring service delivery remains compliant at all times with policy and legislation
– Developing and maintaining the processes and procedures within this function of DS
What we are looking for in our New Development Delivery Manager:
– Experience leading a team in a customer focussed and target driven environment is critical for the role
– NVQ in Civil Engineering Level 5 or similar
– Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
– 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above in Maths and English
– ISOH Managing Safely qualification
– Experienced in Design and Construction Clean and Waste apparatus
