The Medical Education Manager (MEM) will be required to work closely with the Director of Medical Education (DME) and the Training Programme Directors (TPDs) for Core and Higher Speciality Training in Psychiatry, to ensure the delivery of outstanding training for our medical workforce.

The MEM provides strategic direction and specialist medical training knowledge, planning and leadership to the Medical Education Team which includes some direct reporting. The post-holder will be providing guidance and senior management support to the wider Postgraduate Medical Education Team. The post includes interpretation and implementation of national policies related to medical education and a clear oversight of the implementation of service level agreements in collaboration with the DME & the wider Medical Education Dept.
