Talent Manager
Role Purpose
To lead the attraction of Talent in the business. Build relationship with the People Business Partners and key stakeholders offering insight and guidance on the external market and trends within the attraction and recruitment of talent.
Key Responsibilities:
· Developing and implementing a talent strategy in order to attract and recruit the best talent, this will include reviewing current advertising strategy, ensuring the most effective and relevant routes to market are being utilised
· Managing the attraction and resourcing process from start to finish, ensuring the best possible candidate journey
· Working closely with business stakeholders and People Business Partners to understand potential skill gaps and ‘risk’ areas as well as identifying future resource requirements and developing a pipeline of external talent
· Playing a key role in developing the EVP alongside the Group HR Director and Head of Marketing and Internal Comms.
· Developing the approach to LinkedIn and social media and how the Business can optimise its use reducing its reliance on agency.
· Reviewing recruitment collateral including job descriptions, adverts and working with our marketing team to ensure our career’s pages represent the organisation and are easy to find and navigate.
· Communicate effectively and lead the teams within the business area through change and implementation of new initiatives
· Pro-active management of the recruitment and selection process, working with the people business partners to ensure we are recruiting the right talent in line with our values and behaviours and are supporting diversity
· Analyse data looking for trends and insights and produce recommendations to the business for improvements
· Participate in Group People activities as appropriate
· Regularly review own performance standards and strive to achieve continuous improvement
Experience & Qualifications
· Previous demonstrable experience of working as an in-house recruiter or for a recruitment consultancy
· Proven expertise in the use of sourcing and searching tools including LinkedIn and developing relationships with agencies and 3rd parties
· Customer and results orientated, with proven experience in developing and implementing recruitment practices and procedures
· Managing budgets and demonstrating return on investment
· Demonstrable experience of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member
· Experience of dealing with and influencing senior and challenging individuals

· Creative thinking on how to attract and source talent and manage recruitment campaigns
· Confidence to challenge in one on one and group situations

· IT literate
· Excellent planning and organising skills with an eye for detail
· Ability to deliver to tight timescales
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
