South Pointe High School is an A rated school looking for a certified and/or appropriately qualified College and Career Readiness teacher to join our strong school team of passionate and dedicated teachers to provide engaging instruction – empowering all students. The College and Career Readiness
Teacher implements South Pointe High School’s initiatives, directly under the
School Leader, while providing support services in areas of student attendance, academic performance, behavior and health. You will communicate with teachers, parents, students, and support staff regarding student issues in the areas of attendance and academics. This is a great job for an educator who is looking for a full-time position with a small school while being part of a larger organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree (Masters degree preferred)
• Possession of a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• 1-3 years school counseling experience or the equivalent, providing the skills and knowledge necessary to plan and implement meaningful and effective guidance and counseling activities.

• Experience coordinating community services for students
• Excellent skills in project planning and in coordinating multiple short- and long-term projects.
• Evidence of successful experience in employee/parent relations.
• Demonstrated commitment to ALL young people’s learning success and achievement, a must!
