About the role

The role of the Finance Business Partner is to manage the financial requirement of the Asset departments of the business to allow the efficient delivery of the capital works program and developer related functions. This role has an important function to ensure fiduciary obligations are met.

• Financial Management
• Financial Analysis
• Monthly Reporting
• Infrastructure Capitalisation
• Board Reporting
• Process Management
• Budgeting / Forecasting
• Risk Allocation

About you

The skills and experience required for this fixed term, five month appointment include, but are not limited to the following:

• A tertiary business or accounting qualification with a preference for a CA or CPA qualification also

• A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in a similar role
• Highly developed written communication skills for preparing Board and sub-committee reports and papers
• Understanding of various capital works models and risk management processes such as Monte Carlo simulation & probability estimating
• Highly developed financial and earned value concepts
• Highly developed verbal communication skills and the ability to information, influence and present financial information to Executive management
• Significant management accounting skills
• Significant experience in stakeholder management, presentation skills, management accounting, financial management & systems accounting.
