Job Description
Summary:
To provide administrative support to the HR function, including recruitment and payroll, being the first point of contact for HR queries and providing support, advice and guidance to Line Managers and employees of the Company.
Duties:
Maintain HR records, including issuing letters and notifications to employees
Monitor the HR inbox, acting as first point of contact, providing advice in line with UK employment law and Company policy
Attend meetings to coach and support managers with all Employment Relations matters, including absences, disciplinary and grievances
Manage the recruitment process by ensuring appropriate approvals are in place and advising line Managers on the most appropriate method of recruitment for the specific role, co-ordinating the placement of appropriate advertisements and arranging interviews
Support the drafting and maintenance of Company policies on Q-Pulse
Provide support to the Company’s Annual Performance Review
Processing the monthly payroll information for the UK, ROI and USA with Finance
Create and issue employment contracts and offer letters
Manage pre-employment checks, including references, DBS checks and Right to Work checks
Provide administrative support in respect of any training endeavours and assign training courses to new starters
Create reports in respect of HR matters on activities within HR over the preceding month, or as needed
Support in the provision of information to benefits providers
Arranging Occupational Health referrals
Maintain a working knowledge of HR policies and procedures
Comply with all quality control procedures to support maintenance of Source BioScience’s Quality Management System
Comply with safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies.
Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with grade and experience.
Qualifications
Some HR experience is required and an understanding of UK employment law.
Ideally at least level 3 CIPD but this is not essential.
Full training will be provided but you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
