Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator at Soul Dental located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for appointment scheduling, phone and email communication, patient care coordination, knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, understanding dental biling codes and dental insurences to facilitate patient care and treatment plan presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in appointment scheduling and phone etiquette
• Experience in working with dental management software, Dentrix
• Computer skills
• Ability to coordinate patient care effectively
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Knowledge of dental billing codes and basic dental insurance procedures
• Excellent patient care skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in healthcare or dental industry is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or customer support is a plus
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is a plus
