Soucy Group Hiring for Planner at Drummondville, QC Full Time

WHAT TO EXPECT

Reporting to the Director of Logistics, VS and Inside Sales, the primary duties of this position will be:

Establish delivery dates for customer orders and follow up on them

Determine and follow up on the production plan for each of the molding and core-making lines

Determine and communicate labour requirements for the next few weeks

Print and distribute the necessary production documentation

Generate performance indicators (% of production plan completion)

Participate in cyclical counts and inventory updates in the system

Ensure that the ERP system is updated vs. production progress

Import production data

Proceed to the closing of production orders

Any other tasks deemed relevant

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

DEC or BAC in Operations Management/Industrial Engineering/Logistics or related experience

2 – 4 years experience in a similar position

Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Knowledge of the foundry industry is an asset

Sense of responsibility and autonomy

Customer service orientation

Ability to influence and communicate well

Good knowledge of the Office suite, ERP and knowledge of Syteline an asset
