Working within a Systems and Management Information team in an HR Shared Service Centre, the main focus of the role will be to scope, design and deliver the implementation of a new HR System! In addition, you will deliver HR reports and analysis to the wider HR Function and other business customers, utilising all systems within the function.
Supporting the HR Analytics and Systems Manager, you will ensure processes and systems are managed and updated to offer the best possible customer service to partner across all levels of the business; providing day to day system support and will play a key role in all aspects of system development; continually auditing and monitoring data input to ensure optimum output; aspects of supporting and technical administration for the HR systems; delivering in line with critical metrics.
What you will be doing:
Play a key role in system development and new system implementations (as appropriate). Drive the implementation of system enhancements in accordance with SLAs.
Ensure testing is carried out to very high standards.
First line support for the HR systems, including process, system questions and issue resolution for all users.
Update System User Guides and ensure documentation is up to date for all team processes. Deliver training accordingly
Managing the system administration of the systems, including liaison with other key departments such as IT/DSI, in line with legislative and audit requirements, and security measures are correctly in place
Drive process discipline and continuous improvement as well as delivering the deployment of automation wherever possible to improve overall efficiency.
Build and maintain relationships with key partners within the team and the wider business.
Resolving customer queries related to the systems and MI whilst delivering extraordinary service, ensuring a phenomenal experience for the customer. Leading cases and ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
What you will bring:
Experience of working on system implementations including; scoping requirements with customers and translating these into a clear, meaningful format for developers, creating and handling a test plan, carrying out testing and leading testing failures;
System Administration experience, providing first line support for queries, handling more sophisticated queries with third parties or internal IT department in accordance with agreed support SLAs, maintenance of background tables, user/ security management and governance;
Experience of running system upgrades;
Consistent track record of using strong analytical techniques and problem solving;
Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate recommendations in a confident and business-like manner;
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written;
It would be great if you had:
Knowledge of management reporting tools, specifically Power BI and Excel;
Manage and manipulate large amounts of data in order to provide concise, summarised analysis;
Solid understanding of HR/Payroll processes and systems, ideally from HR/ Payroll Administration background;
Experience in problem solving and process mapping;
Creative and innovating thinking and approach to work.
