Curriculum Specialist

The Curriculum Specialist is responsible for the administration of new and existing curricula and online programs for Ducere’s graduate and undergraduate global business programs. The curriculum specialist will work with the curriculum development team and faculty to plan, implement, and evaluate curriculum, assessments, and instructional materials. This includes the administrative, logistical, data analysis, and management of curriculum and assessment development and evaluation.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate the review and development of curriculum to ensure course/programs are effective and align with intended learning outcomes and requirements

• Work with the curriculum team, university partners, and faculty to identify good assessment methodology and learning activities that result in high quality online learning experiences

• Provide support for the curriculum review process including curriculum mapping, data analysis, and evaluation for continuous improvement

• Participate in detailed curriculum mapping to define and evaluate learning outcomes, standards, alignment, etc.

• Support new course development and revision by assisting with the development and implementation of assessments, instructional materials, etc.

• Create and maintain templates, documentation, and master course frameworks for curriculum

• Develop and conduct surveys and research to measure the effectiveness of the curriculum

• Assist with the design and development of valid assessment methods Collaborate with curriculum stakeholders, university partners and to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of curriculum through learner analysis and feedback sources

• Ensure all curriculum and revisions follow university partner accreditation guidelines, policies, and regulations as they pertain to education

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Adult/Post-secondary Education, Education Studies, Instructional Design, Administration or related degree

• Certificates such as Curriculum and Instruction, Course Design, Learning Design and Technology, or similar is preferred

Knowledge/Experience

• Experience in higher education and academic assessment, program evaluation, or course accreditation preferred

• A minimum of three years of administrative work experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and G Suite tools

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a virtual team environment

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skill

• High degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
