POSITION DESCRIPTION – HEALTHCARE RECRUITER
ASSISTANT
OVERVIEW: Assist Sonas in becoming the Provider of Choice through recruitment of, onboarding of, and marketing for top talent.

SUPERVISOR: Talent Acquisition Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with employee hiring processes. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma. Four-year college degree strongly preferred.
• Intermediate competency with computers and other technology that are utilized to conduct job functions.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must be able to solve complex problems and function effectively in a stressful work environment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light to moderate physical exertion regularly such as: lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stopping, kneeling and reaching.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds such as: books, papers, files, medical/office supplies etc. frequently.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time in the work area.
• Ability to transport oneself to and from multiple work sites.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates and implements various recruiting and sourcing plans and strategies for caregivers.
• Support efforts of Healthcare Recruiters in hiring LPNs and RNs.
• Participates in developing company goals, objectives and systems including recruiting and retention.
• Conducts recruitment effort for office personnel and caregivers including writing and placing of advertisements, screening of resumes and by phone, and in-person interviews.
• Completes onboarding process including paperwork and orientation for caregivers.
• Assists in evaluation of s, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Assist local offices with the development and implementation of caregiver recruiting plans and efforts. Recommend new approaches, contests, etc. to consistently drive improvements and increases in the number of active caregivers.
• Communicate effectively with management and local offices to ensure needs are met in a timely manner.
• Create excitement with candidates to join our organization.
• Respond promptly to all applicants and proactively guide candidates through the process.
• Assist with items as needed such as brand collateral, special campaigns, etc.
• Develop current caregiver referral program to increase number of applicants.
• Develop contests and other programs to encourage offices to increase recruiting and allow for transparency and health competition within the organization.
• Develop tools and s to measure and increase candidate sourcing efforts and success.
• Gather, produce and maintain email marketing lists.
• Gather, source, and store potential candidate resumes and contact information in company data bases.
• Re-engage candidates stalled in hire process. Provide solutions to team for candidate re-engagement
• Perform reference, licensure and other checks on candidates to ensure hiring criteria is met.
• Discuss and negotiate pay with candidates to facilitate offer. Create and send out job offer letters as needed.

• Maintain professional/technical competency and proficiency of job responsibilities by attending and participating in meetings, conferences and education programs as requested.
• Perform all job responsibilities with a friendly, positive and team-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
