Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Hiring for Education Facilitator Job at Taunton, England Full Time

The postholder will provide pastoral and professional support to individuals undertaking a T Level industry placement in the Trust(s), as well as to individuals undertaking a Project Search internship placement in the Trust(s). They will also be a main point of contact for educational establishments, management teams and department mentors – ensuring that everyone is working together to ultimately deliver a fantastic placement experience

The postholder will collaborate closely with colleagues, other learning and development professionals, line managers and/or human resource colleagues to ensure that the placement experience for all of the learners on these schemes is a positive one.

At specific times of year, there may be a need for the individual to undertake a high level of administrative support work, alongside our placement team, as we undertake the necessary processes to prepare for new cohorts of students.

The postholder will need to be able to travel within their working day to visit learners across multiple NHS sites throughout Somerset. Therefore, access to a vehicle and a full driving license is essential for this post. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with the relevant organisational policies.

Sector-specific experience and qualifications (such as an NVQ L3 or equivalent qualification in Healthcare) will be advantageous, as would any qualification or experience in formally mentoring or training individuals.

• Provide professional and pastoral support toT Level StudentsandProject Search Internsacross Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
• Advise and guide both T Level Mentors, and Department and Service Managers on queries relating toT Level StudentsandProject Search Internsacross Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
• Liaise and engage with education institutions and other relevant organisations to support successful T Level and Project Search placements to take place.
• Support administrative processes relating to Project Search and T Level Industry placements, including (but not limited to): supporting employment clearances, honorary contracts, IT access, induction planning and delivery etc.
• Work with the wider Trust to enhance the quality of placements and student learning experience.
